Hour Truth Deliverance Ministries was founded by Evangelist Gerald G. Pettyjohn in May, 1988. Originally HTDM was organized for the men and women of the trucking industry here in the United States and Canada. After many hours on our knees in prayer we expanded this ministry to include all people. It may be noted that we still have place in our heart and in our ministry for the truckers of North America. Our vision is to move our earthly headquarters to Slidell, LA. We have a vision of founding Hour of Truth Deliverance Tabernacle in the New Orleans/Slidell, LA area. Please pray with us concerning this important undertaking that God has laid on our heart. Hour of Truth Deliverance Ministries is an old fashioned pentecostal group that believes that the Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe that sin is sin and by not being born again man or woman will be sent to hell for all eternity. Man or woman must repent of their sins, be saved in order to go to heaven. We believe in miracles. We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. According to scripture, works will not save you. We believe in the shed blood of Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. In truth, since Adam and Eve sinned and was banished from the Garden of Eden mankind is borne into sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 - "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine".
