Heaven or Hell, It
is Your Choice
Hebrews 9: 27 – “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”. In John 6: 37 – “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will no wise cast out”. Matthew 5: 41 - “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels”. Friends, hell was not created for man. Hell was created for the devil and his rebellious angels. God does not send any one to hell. Sin can not enter into the presence of God Almighty. God has given every man, woman and child the avenue to become blameless in the sight of God. Jesus Christ was the prefect sacrifice for man’s sin. Repenting and believing on Jesus Christ will let man avoid an eternal damnation in hell. HELL is very hot. It has been 90 degrees plus here in Slidell for most of June. We say that is hot. The hottest temperature recorded on earth is from the Sahara desert. The record temperature reached 136 degrees at El Azizia. Well folks, hell is hot. We are told in the Mark 9: 43-44 - “(43) And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. (44) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched”. Man can not imagine what Jesus Christ described what hell is. Many modern theologians have questioned the existence of hell. Satan has lied to man and told them that a loving God would not send anyone to such a place. Again neighbors, God is not sending anyone to a devil’s hell. Man’s disobedience is what is sending man to hell. God would desire every man, woman and child to enter heaven. Water boils at 212 degrees. Gasoline ignites at 275 degrees. Iron becomes liquid a 1535 degrees. The temperature of an atom bomb reaches 300,000 degrees. Our sun reaches approximately 2 million degrees on the surface; however the sun reaches 15 million degrees at its core. The hydrogen bomb upon ignition reaches 3 times the temperature of our sun. In India scientists created in the laboratory a temperature of 3.6 million degrees. Friends those are some hot, hot temperatures. Hell is going to be even hotter than those temperatures that I have described.
The fire will never be quenched. Fire consists of three elements, fuel, oxygen and heat. To extinguish a fire, remove one of the components and the fire is quenched. I do not pretend to know how God will keep the fire of hell burning. I know that God, the creator of heaven and earth and creator of man has worked out that problem. God will be victorious against the devil and all sin.
My friends there are 50 plus scriptures in the Bible describing hell. Every thing in the Bible teaches us that there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. There are 500 verses in the Bible describing heaven of the heavens. God is showing us that heaven is our true destination. Oh my friends many men and women will be deceived. The devil is attempting to minimize the word of God in today’s world. Many preachers have failed both God and man by not teaching of this place called hell. They teach a message of plenty and of greed. They have failed to preach that sin is sin. They have in fact changed the definition of sin. Oh glory to God many preachers are going to face God in the judgment and will find that they had been preaching to itching ears.
Yes my friend, not giving your heart, soul and life to God through the blood of Jesus Christ will send you to hell. As I told you earlier the temperature will be HOT very HOT and you will not be able to get a drink of cool water. The nation that forgets God will also go to hell. Psalms 9:17 – “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” God is very serious about sin. He hates sin!
Remember friend, if you fail to repent of your sins and die you will go to hell. You will not be bothered by another “Bible thumper” giving you another tract, or a preacher hounding you to go to Church. Never again will you have to worry about being bothered with the word of God. However, think of this, you will remember every sermon ever preached to you, you will remember every tract that was offered to you and YOU WILL remember every time that you failed to respond to the calling of God to get you to the altar to be saved.
Hell will be so hot that you will suffer for ever and ever. Your spiritual body will not be destroyed by the heat. You will have your senses about you and like the rich man that died and opened his eyes up in hell you will want a cool drink of water to quench your thirst. You will cry and beg for water, but it will be too late.
We have people that teach you that death is the end. This is a lie from the devil. Friend the Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27 – “And as it is appointed unto to men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Satan has told this lie for thousands of year. Satan wants to be your god. He has told this lie and sadly enough man has fallen for his lies. Remember hell was created for the devil and the rebellious angels. Hell was not created for man; however man will be punished for his wickedness and for his sin. God is a just God that does not want to condemn man to hell and eternal punishment. Many men have taken all this out context. Many so-called preachers tell us that God will not send man to such a terrible place. I am sorry to bust your bubble. God and sin is like oil and water. They do not mix. Sin cannot enter into the present of God. God is righteous and God is Holy.
Too avoid hell and eternal damnation mankind has a way out. John 3: 16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Yes God gave man a way to avoid hell. God gave his Son Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice for sin!
Let me tell you about heaven. Revelations 21: 2-3 - And I John saw the holy city New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (3) And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them and be their God”.
Think about it friends. God shall wipe away all tears. The effects of sin such as sorrow, pain, unhappiness are gone forever. All evil things have completely passed away. There will be no more death, no sorrow, no crying, no pain, no more sickness. Former things are passed away, All things are made new, he or she that overcometh shall inherit all things.
This city is foursquare. This city will have walls of jasper. The streets will be paved with pure gold like unto glass. Heaven’s foundation is garnished with all manner of precious stones. These stones will include stones such as topaz, jasper, sapphires, emerald, and diamonds. The grandeur of heaven can not be comprehended by man. There will be a pure river of water flowing from the throne of God. Glory to God, we are possibly experiencing this water which is the Holy Ghost which gives us life, blessings, and spiritual power!
There is a tree of life which bares twelve manners of fruits and will yield her fruit every month and the leafs of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Most important occupant of heaven is God Almighty and his magnificent son Jesus Christ. I could go on and on describing heavenMost important thing is that we will reside in heaven for all of eternity. No more sickness, no more sadness, no more tears. Yes my friend heaven is very desirable. Hell is very undesirable. Today you must choose whom you are going to serve. It would behoove you to ask God for forgiveness and repent of your sins. Serve God Almighty! Do not be deceived by the devil and his demons. Today is the day of salvation.
